Tonight I was walking around, and this car drives at me. So I quickly move to the side of the road. Instead of passing me the sketchy young male rolls down his window, and asked if I had any crunk. I frowned. He then asked if I knew anyone who would sell him some pot. I refrained from pointing out a house on that street where a girl I didn't like very much in high school lived.

Things I like about Hanover.
My parents, who treat me much better than I deserve, as somehow whenever I come home, I revert back to my heathen like nature I had in first year.
My grandma's knitted socks (which live in plethora here)
Knitted Mittens
Good groceries
Warmish weather (it is 2 degrees here- amazing in comparison to Ottawa).
Being called Boogers by Fiona.
My 60 year-old best friends who I work with.
My innovative Grocery Technology. Today I thought of the Crumb Catcher Funnel.
Arguing about whose boyfriend King's College Library is (the second best library in Ontario).
My furry boots. Which have made me bled two days in a row.

Things I dislike about Hanover.
The lack of a good church/worship/fellowship
The lack of heat in my house. Sooooooooooo cold.
My dial up internet.
The smallness
How my bedtime somehow becomes 10:30 every night, even when I have things to do. And then I still wake up at 9 am.

Why did you entitle your entry "hangover"? Is it because it sounds somewhat like "Hanover" and it's a nickname for your town?
basically. I had never really thought of it as a nickname for hanover, but since I went to Ottawa, everytime I told someone where I was from, that was generally the first thing they would ask, if it had the nickname Hangover. Because of this I assume someone probably really has given it this nickname. I am just was unaware of it.
