Yesterday Jo and I were to meet up to go sharing, but we conveyed the incorrect times to one another.
This meant that I felt convicted that I should be sharing my faith, so I was really intentional in talking with this guy in my philosophy class. He offered to let me use his markers while drawing in class, and I accepted, thinking that his way of making friends was very similar to a student in Gr 1. (Back story on this person: he is a personal space invader, a loud talker, and only wears red and black stripes (last point more for interest sake than anything else). The first week I sat beside him and quickly realized it just wouldn’t work out. However someone has moved into my spot, so I was forced to take up my original residence). Anyways, after class he wanted us to switch notes for a midterm, and although I feel mine were sufficient for myself, I agreed in hopes of sharing with him- so I had a purpose. So I end up explaining how I believe that there is only one way to reach God and that means that religions can’t be compatible. Then he starts asking about my drawings. Apparently when I thought he was invading my space to copy my notes, he was actually staring at my pictures. He was hoping that I could do computer something-something to help design his website. So he also had an extra purpose other than my notes. I found it really amusing.
When I got home, I look at my notebook and realize what he ended up photocopying was actually some ministry stuff, particularly a prayer list, and a page titled, the Spirit Filled Life, and then a picture of a floor plan, with each room labeled as an area of both Jo and my own lives. I feel that he will be confused.

Hahaha!! That's quite ironic.... maybe you should show up wearing red and black stripes as well, so you will be twins.
PS: At least you can have a good starting point for a conversation next class-- 'were you confused?' 'What did you learn?'
