a) I dislike door-to-door electricity people. Yesterday I signed up for a stablization plan that I think is suppose to last five years. I don't want that, but I felt coerced. Luckily they have to call to confirm again before it applies. In the future I think I will lie (the Holy thing) and tell them that I am moving shortly. Or that my parents aren't home. I don't live with my parents and that should make no impact on my electricity choices. But whatevs.
b)This semester in my Sunday School class, I have been learning such practical things about how to live in a way pleasing to God (this is a class for middle school kids). It is great relearning all these things I forget so often. In my class today, we were talking about the Goat and the Sheep parable, and how the sheep served others like they were serving Christ. I have been noticing (and my roommate has noticed :S) how often I don’t do that, and instead am, or at least appear, super judgemental towards my friends and housemates. T’is too bad. However, I happy about realizing this, as I am all about character improvement and being rebuked (even if it is self/ Holy Spirit Inflicted)! Yay!!

a) The electricity people along with all telemarketers and door-to-door sales people follow a script when they talk to you. The more convincingly they recite it, the more effective it is. They will not have their feelings hurt if you say no and they are not going to do anything if you cut them off and say you're not interested. They will have more customers and they will get over the fact that you don't need their product.
However, you should probably still be polite...hahaha.. but there's no reason to lie to them-- just say no!
b) I don't remember a goat in that story....
a) i cancelled it this morning. it wasn't very difficult.
b)definitely goats involved. they basically don't have a role. other than being the bad guys.
