Art I desperately want.

There is a very popular stationary-ist in my blog world, whose name is Anna Bond. She creates all kinds of lovely paper products. I just fell in love with this. If I had a permanent address to ship things to, I would purchase it in a second.

Tomorrow I will be rush packing before my semi-move back to Ottawa on Thursday. Yesterday and today I have talked to a lot of adults who have made my stay here in London awesome; supervisors at work, who despite their age add smile-y faces to everything that is inanimate, excitable sunday school teachers and program directors who have drastically different views on kid’s learning styles, british women who provide fantastic critical feedback and love the use of pauses at anytime during conversations and presentations. I have been incredibly blessed in my time here, and I am very sad to leave.
So sad, in fact, that today I cried a little while walking to the mailbox. At that point two mormon missionaries asked me if I was okay. I said yes, and assured them that I had mormon friends in order to make the short cross-walk light, rather than have a lengthy discussion.
p.s. One of the mormon missionaries (they were boys) looked uber uncomfortable.
p.s.s. I will also be very sad to leave my fantastic apartment. Honestly, it is the greatest. My freezer has a closet. And my carpet reminds me of Aslan. or a well-loved, slightly disgusting stuffed animal.
