1. I want to see Pride and Prejudice so badly. But I don’t want to pay five dollars (at least to rent it). So I will wait and find a friend who owns it.
2. I like my mom a lot. As a solution to number one, she suggested buying her Pride and Prejudice as a birthday present, and watch it before I give it to her.
3. I think I have poor communication skills when I am not listening carefully. That is almost all the time. I realized this weekend how often I don’t really pay attention to the things grown-ups at my church say to me, leading me to answering them incorrectly.
Ex. A man at my church asked me what I learned on my trip. I was confused.
i) I don’t super enjoy projects called ‘trips’, but that is probably a sin issue that I need to get over
ii) I thought he was meant my language skills (as it is true I learned things from God, but due to how it was phrased I really thought he meant language,)
iii) I was confused why my now mad azn skillz would be what he was most concerned about
So I answered, ‘Not very much.’
I think I would have been best off just asking him to repeat/explain himself, as afterwards I seriously considered writing him a post-it note attached to my update letter, explaining my confusion which lead to why my answer was…stupid.
